It was a midsummer’s day in Bellwood Park. The sun was at its highest point in the cloudless sky, beaming down brilliant rays of radiant sunlight. In fact, it was so hot and humid that there were only but a few people strolling and/or relaxing at the park at this hour—and that included the entire Tennyson family.
To celebrate the homecoming of Gwen and her family—that even includes her brother, Ken—, they all decided to have a family picnic, followed by a peaceful trip to the beach; Ben and Gwen being the ones who thought up of the idea.
Almost every Tennyson known to take residence in Bellwood was there—Ben, Gwen, Ken, their parents, Grandpa Max, even cousin Lenny and his parents. Heck, even Grandma Verdona—, having a gala of a time.
“This is really wonderful,” beamed Grandma Verdona, taking another sip of her hot tea, “We should do this more often.” She smiled at the four people sitting around her around the picnic table.
